  • Rebecca and Maia went to visit Char for an early Mother's Day on S 5/4.
  
  
  • Took the kids to Lake Anne on M 5/6.
  
  
  • Solo dad dinner at Local Provisions on W 5/8.
  
  
  • Rebecca and Maia flew to Minneapolis to see Sara and Karl on H 5/9.
  
  
  • Ian went to the grandparents' for his very first weekend away on F 5/10 and I had a whole steak for dinner.
  
  
  • The rest of the family returned home on S 5/12.
  
  
  • Visit to Lake Anne on M 5/13, with dinner at Calypso.
  
  
  • Went to the HOA meeting on W 5/15.
  
  
  • Maia went to the grandparents' for the weekend on F 5/17. Dinner at Ford's Fish Shack for the rest of us.
  
  
  • Walk on the Claude Moore paved trail on S 5/18. Gave Amber a bath. Made white bean and bacon soup for dinner.
  
  
  • Maia returned home on S 5/19. Tacos for dinner.
  
  
  • Amber died on T 5/21.
  
  
  • Maia had a playdate with Rahel on S 5/25.
  
  
  • Got a weird stomach bug for a few days on S 5/26. Family dinner at Chuy's.
  
  
  • Spent Memorial Day at the Smiths on M 5/27. Grilled burgers and had s'mores.


• Projects
  • Started relearning web development to do a URI! Zone makeover.
  
  
  • Painted the basement bathroom ("Riverdale") on F 5/17.


• Consumerism
  • Enjoyed watching 3-Body Problem this month. Just started Yellowjackets which is promising.
  
  
  • Started playing Diablo 4 again after the most recent patch.
  
  
  • No amazing new movies, books, or music.

May's Final Grade: B-, lots of logistical churn and loss of a kitty
