An arrangement of Brick House, written for the Marching Virginians. This one was written at the request of the band director before the 2000 football season. Ultimately it ended up to be too busy (in my opinion) and it took longer than normal for the band to learn it. By the last games of the season though, it sounded great.

I then redid the arrangement to be a little easier and clearer, with less unnecessary busy passages throughout. I'd heard reports that the original edition was still taking too long to learn, so I figured I'd pass this easier version on to the director. I'd rather have a band play an easy version and sound good, than mess up on a hard version, possibly faulting the arranger.
