This song was commissioned by Alexandria City Public School Music to be played by combined bands (three middle school bands and a high school band) in memory of George White, junior high band director and director of the Washington Redskins Pep Band for many years. It was performed at T.C. Williams' last football game of the season in November 1998.

The biggest challenge here was retaining all the elements of Hail to the Redskins while making it interesting and accessible to young performers.
